Pricing questions, answered

Is the Starter plan really free?

Yes. Starter is free forever for up to 5 tables — QR requests, live staff alerts and Stripe pay-at-table included. TabCall earns a 0.5% platform fee on transactions, so we only make money when your tables do.

Do I need to replace my POS?

No. TabCall sits on top of your existing POS. On Growth and Pro, orders and payments sync to Toast, Square or Clover automatically — no rip-and-replace, no double entry.

How long does setup take?

Most venues are live the same day: create your venue, print the QR tents we generate for each table, and your floor is taking requests — typically under 15 minutes of actual work.

What happens after the 14-day trial?

Growth and Pro start with a 14-day free trial, no card required. If you don't subscribe, your venue drops to the free Starter plan — nothing is deleted, paid features just pause until you upgrade.

Are there any transaction fees?

Stripe's processing fee (2.9% + 30¢) is passed through at cost on all plans, plus TabCall's 0.5% platform fee on the free Starter plan. Growth and Pro have no platform fee on payments.
