Pricing questions, answered

Is the Starter plan really free?

Yes. Starter is free forever for up to 5 tables — QR requests, live staff alerts and reviews included. TabCall never touches your guests’ money: they settle with your staff on your own terminal, exactly as they do today.

Do I need to replace my POS?

No. TabCall sits alongside your existing POS rather than replacing it — your POS keeps taking the order, holding the bill and settling the payment. TabCall handles everything around that: how guests call for service, what they discover on the menu, and how they tell you it went. Direct Toast, Square and Clover connectors are in development and not available yet.

How long does setup take?

Most venues are live the same day: create your venue, print the QR tents we generate for each table, and your floor is taking requests — typically under 15 minutes of actual work.

What happens after the 14-day trial?

Growth and Pro start with a 14-day free trial, no card required. If you don't subscribe, your venue drops to the free Starter plan — nothing is deleted, paid features just pause until you upgrade.

Are there any transaction fees?

None. TabCall doesn't process guest payments, so there is nothing to take a cut of — your guests settle with your staff on your own terminal and your existing card rates are untouched. The plan price is the whole cost.
